CustomWeather offers Weather Forecasts to Latin American Travelers on Despegar.com

San Francisco, CA—May 30, 2001—CustomWeather, the leading supplier of syndicated weather data announced today that it will be the exclusive provider of global travel weather forecasts to Despegar.com, a leading travel site targeting Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking communities worldwide. CustomWeather’s forecasting data will be integrated into Despegar’s travel services offered to its Internet and mobile customers.

“After careful consideration, we determined that not only did CustomWeather offer the most comprehensive global coverage, and most detailed information,” said Roberto Souviron, CEO of Despegar.com, “Their data was provided in a format that was easily integrated and translated for our Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking audience.”

The agreement with Despegar.com is one of a series of successful partnerships that CustomWeather has recently established with companies targeting international audiences. Just last week, CustomWeather also announced a deal with Resfeber.se, Scandinavia’s largest online travel service.
