Unlike other weather toolkits that may require a database or knowledge of programming, CustomWeather's new toolkit is targeted at graphic designers who may have limited programming experience. The new toolkit does not require use of a database since all weather content is queried through a http interface in real-time. The only requirement for the weather toolkit is the installation of either Java 1.3 or Java 1.4 on a computer connected to the internet. The toolkit is already being utilized by some of the world's largest companies to create a weather section with their own look and feel.
